I qualified from The Regent Academy of Fine Arts in London and gained most of my work experience whilst living in Mauritius, a small tropical island situated in the Indian Ocean. My Business evolved from a home industry - my love for comfortable interiors was more of a hobby and I enjoyed making soft furnishings for my own home. I progressed gradually and went on to setting up my 'Atelier ' where we specialised in custom-made soft furnishings, offering our services to the hotel and tourist industry as well as restaurants, beach apartments and private clients. My surroundings greatly influenced my style of work; rustic, natural, exotic, authentic Mauritian themes were key elements to my design approach.

  Contemporary window dressings have been popular with most clients including, made to measure Roman Blinds constructed with both traditional components and track mechanisms. Projects also included a wide range of cushion designs in various sizes. I also commissioned a wide selection of bespoke cushions for Colefax and Fowler and had to meet strict requirments and high standards for an elite clientele. Tailoring to customers needs is what I've enjoyed doing and I still do take on small projects, please contact me if you are interested in taking on my services by filling in the Contact Form.
